GoldMed Engineering Services was established to provide first class technical and engineering services to hospitals, medical centres and any business where the efficiency of biomedical equipment is paramount. The team at GoldMed is comprised of Brett Pennisi and Aaron Maroske.
Brett is a tertiary qualified Medical Engineer, completing his degree at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). His honours thesis involved modelling bone fracture healing times according to fracture type with engineering design analysis software (ANSYS). He holds manufacturer certifications in the repair and maintenance of a range of biomedical equipment, including ventilators, syringe drivers, infusion pumps, theatre tables, defibrillators, anaesthetic machines, auto-transfusion and blood cell separating machines, and monitoring equipment. He is also a Graduate member of Engineers Australia.
Aaron has built a considerable career in the medical field over the past 15 years, with extensive technical trade experience in the medical service and maintenance industry. He possesses formal qualifications in Electro-technology and holds a Restricted Electrical Licence. He has extensive certified training with a range of biomedical and gas instrumentation, including anaesthetic machines, manifolds, diathermies, defibrillators, auto-transfusion and blood cell separating machines, ventilators, syringe drivers, infusion pumps, theatre tables, and monitoring equipment. Aaron’s work in the medical field has seen him travel extensively throughout Australia and overseas.
