Front-row intensity…the Reds Under-15s of 2023 in action
Padua College’s Harlem Faalafi will head a potent Queensland Reds backline in Sunday’s Under-15s clash against the NSW Waratahs on Ballymore’s Field Two.
Centre Faalafi’s ball-carrying is a major plus for the side as well as his leadership because he has been honoured with the vice-captaincy.
Prop Jeremiah Kite, the son of GPS Rugby Club head coach Sio Kite, will captain the side in the first of two clashes against the Waratahs.
The 1pm fixture will harness many of the best young talents in the country.
“It’s a wonderful chance for the best players from Queensland and NSW to represent their states,” said Paul Carozza, the Reds Head of Talent Management.
“It’s an opportunity to be identified early for the Emerging Reds Cup next season and then challenging for a spot in the pathway for the Super Rugby Men’s U16s.”
The match will be played on Ballymore’s Field Two after the U14s clash between Queensland Navy and Queensland Gold (11:45am).
